Open Studios Fish Hoek & Clovelly returns this October with the biggest line-up yet!

Cape Town’s Deep South will once again open its doors for Open Studios Fish Hoek & Clovelly from Friday, 9 October to Sunday, 11 October 2026.

More than 40 artists at 20 locations across Fish Hoek & Clovelly will open their studios to the public, offering a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the creative process and the opportunity to purchase original artwork directly from the artists.

Evan Oberholster, who participated in the inaugural Open Studios in 2025, returns this year with an exhibition of his figurative oil paintings and ceramic masks, alongside a selection of his earlier drawings and gouache paintings.

Evan will be sharing his home studio at 90 Clovelly Road, Clovelly with Leora Lewis, a ceramic artist whose work moves between the functional and the fantastical.

Since its inaugural edition last year, OSFHC has grown from 19 participating artists to more than 40 this year, with artists working across painting, sculpture, illustration, ceramics and mixed media.

Preview Evening

A ticketed preview event will take place on Friday, 9 October, giving collectors and art lovers an opportunity to explore the studios before the free public weekend.

Tickets are R150 per person, with proceeds supporting Project Flamingo, which provides timely and compassionate care to breast cancer patients within the public healthcare system. Tickets are available through Quicket.

Open to the Public

Following the preview, studios will open free of charge on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October, from 10h00 to 16h00.
